UPDATE on July 12, 2023. 17 of us had a neighborly meet-up at the Club yesterday. General Manager Bob Becker shared candid insight on how the Club is doing and its capabilities. Head Chef Francisco who used to work at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club wasn’t there because he had worked a large event earlier that day. Bob welcomed us back anytime and Pati Iovanni mentioned she plans to come back soon for breakfast with a few close friends and her husband Bob’s company will be hosting a tournament for his company there in September.

Tiger Adolf and I had lunch the other day with Pati Iovanni at the View Bar and Grill at the Chardonnay Golf Club in American Canyon. It’s just 10 miles from our front door but a world away from the 19th Hole Pub at Hiddenbrooke Golf Course. We dined on freshly prepared fish tacos and caprese salad with grilled chicken while looking through their large bay windows facing the gorgeous greens alongside the vineyard. Their full bar is well-stocked and shares the same beautiful space. Happy hour specials are from noon to 3pm on weekdays and include a bucket of range balls with a sandwich and beer for just $15.00. View their entire menu with specials at www.chardonnaygolfclub.com/the_view_bar_and_grill/. In an adjacent banquet room, we noticed they were setting up for a tournament dinner. Our friendly waitress introduced us to Event Manager Brian Eliason and he was quick to invite us to come back with a bunch of our neighbors.
Pati shared on Nextdoor that we lunched there, and Ray Galindo was quick to respond that he thought it was his own secret spot. Sorry Ray, but your secret is out. Join us for a Hiddenbrooke Neighbor Meet-up @ Chardonnay Golf Club on Tuesday, July 11 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Club General Manager Bob Becker will be there to welcome us and share his insight about the Club’s history and capabilities. Their full bar and appetizer menu will be available for purchase. No RSVP is necessary.
If you can’t make it for the Meet-up, then be sure to get there on your own for breakfast or lunch, or just an adult beverage. Learn more about Chardonnay Golf Course at www.chardonnaygolfclub.com/ and follow them on social media to keep up with menu specials and that beautiful vineyard course.

It appears they have redone the View. Ate there with a good friend before Covid and the food was “okay” but lots of flies inside the restaurant. We preferred The Eagle Grill at Eagle Vines Golf Club. Going to have to check this out…thank you Ed for your review and personally bringing these places to our attention!
